Bride Rachael asked for some tips for throwing a bachelorette party on a budget. But not just any bachelorette party — one that’s chic and classy. No light-up penis necklaces, strippers, or boozy vomiting.
With my first plan shot (I kid, I kid), I decided to do a variation on what her ideal party would be like: a day at the spa followed by an elegant dinner out with the girls. Let’s see what we can ...

I thought I’d poke around and see what kind of variety was out there.
Most of these invitation sets run around $5 and under for ...

For all those budget-concious spring and summer brides out there, have I got a treat for you (and your bridesmaids)! You already saw my picks for affordable wedding dresses, but why not take it easy on your ‘maids too? Just because you don’t buy it at a bridal salon doesn’t mean it’s not appropriate for a wedding. For $150 and under, here are some off-the-rack dresses that I think would work well as bridesmaid dresses. ...

My friend Amanda is engaged and getting married on the beach in Hawaii this May. I agreed to aid in the elusive wedding dress search.
My mission (should I choose to accept): Find a wedding dress under $500 without puffy sleeves or a puffy skirt or a train. Strapless is out (I hear ya, sister). Must be beach-appropriate, but she’s a bride, after all. Short or long are both ok.
Let’s do this thing.
