Sure, we may not have money NOW, but that doesn’t stop a girl from dreaming, right? I have a lot of projects up my sleeve, that are just waiting for a little financial support to get rolling. Luckily most of them can be budget-friendly. When we moved into the apartment there were beige microfiber roman shades in the kitchen. I don’t have a ‘before’ picture because they were so gross that they were the first thing to come down and be stashed in the basement. Since then we have had bare windows… not the best option for our single-pane [...] When I posted about our home office a few weeks ago, I was frustrated with clutter, an awkward layout, and organizational systems that weren’t working. We picked up an Expedit bookshelf [...] Back when we had our housewarming party, quite of few of you asked to see more pictures our bar cart. I don’t blame you – it is one of my favorite pieces in the house too! Our living room has made a few major changes since you last saw it here. Can you tell what they are? If you guessed a new rug and curtains, then you’re right! Let’s take another look. I had originally fallen in love with curtains from Pottery Barn, but they were a little expensive for our current situation. Since the housewarming, our little home office has been the dumping ground for papers, holiday craft remnants, returns, gifts, books, and more. Plus, nothing has been [...] This is a photo of Ryan and I last December when we had weeks of crazy weather (well, crazy for Seattle). We took some fun walks in the snow and some nail-biting bus rides between our apartments. And holed up for several days at a time with hot cocoa and the Xbox. |
