For all those budget-concious spring and summer brides out there, have I got a treat for you (and your bridesmaids)! You already saw my picks for affordable wedding dresses, but why not take it easy on your ‘maids too? Just because you don’t buy it at a bridal salon doesn’t mean it’s not appropriate for [...] Last night, I clipped coupons. I get those pesky packets of ads and pizza deals about once a week, and until last night I’ve always taken them directly to the recycling bin. I don’t need a new (used) car, three large pizzas, or collectible ceramic frog figurines, thank you. But the thriftiness came out last [...] Maybe it’s the spring itch, but I’m dying to buy and wear a ton of dresses right now. Not that I want to spend a ton of money. Thats where Forever 21 comes in. They have a ton of cheap cute dresses right now. Instead of our weekly FOWL, I thought it would be fun [...] I haven’t talked much about the economy on here because not only am I iffy on details (for instance, I pretty much zoned out in 11th grade when they explained the stock market), but I like to keep a positive spin on things and focus on how to still accomplish your goals on a tighter [...] On Saturday I had six lovely ladies over for a “swap party”. I sent simple facebook invites and everyone was instructed to bring any clothing, books, cds, movies, housewares that they were ready to let go. Once everyone arrived and the goods were spread, the swapping commenced! My dining room table turned display for housewares [...] Back again with FOWL (Formal, Office, Work and Late-Night looks stemming from one piece!). Today I thought it would be fun to use an item that you probably already have in your closet (or should, and could add one for $10): A black tee.
