Just finished flipping through my issue of Country Living that arrived today (I always do a good flip-through before settling into the articles I want to linger on) and just adored this photo of a simple bright kitchen. My favorite part? The antique cutting boards. I love how their warm patina looks against the stark [...] Ryan got us a Netflix account and I have my own queue! Question is, what do I put on it? I’m loving the mostly-photo blog, F**k Yeah, Marilyn Monroe! Hundreds of photos and movie stills of the actress, and a sprinkling of quote-worthy sound bites. Today’s rainy skies have me dreaming of the perfect rain-soaked alley-way lost-cat kiss. Where I’ll be wearing this: Audrey – by Magchunk on Polyvore.com Who doesn’t love Audrey Tautou? I’m (predictably) a huge “Amelie” fan. This pretty little French woman reminds me (and many others) of another famous Audrey–elegant, poised, fragile and fiery at the same time. And can wear anything she puts on. I didn’t get to watch the Oscars, but taking a look at the winners list today, generally everyone that I wanted to win won. Although I must admit, I slacked on seeing all the nominated films this year. So while my opinion may not be the most educated on the awards themselves, I can definitely [...] I had yesterday off for the holiday, and decided to go see “Confessions of a Shopaholic.” Reading the other reviews online, it is very possible that I am the only person on the internet who liked this movie. I should note that I have not read the books (yet!). |
