And I wonder sometimes if swapping out the chairs with something non-matchy would help. Sounds like pairing it with something a little edgier would help (someday the yellow has to go though!). I have a lot of pine(college graduation presents) and it has the tendency to look country to me when used all together. At one point I wanted to get rid of some of it, but I've since dispersed it throughout the house and renewed my love for the pieces. The tone have a comfy cozy feel to it.
