I am cracking up right now, because your '09 trends all so dead-on. I'm still obsessed with Swedish design, succulents, typography, Polaroids, buntings, and chalkboards! And I love your predictions for 2010. I agree with Jackie, who commented above - I hope you're right about a Summer Camp trend, that would be awesome :)

In 2009 I loved the black walls and the abundance of plaid in the Fall that didn't look Grungy like it did in the 90's. I also really liked seeing interiors that took on the aesthetic of Swedish design and mixed it with industrial components. It's one of those things that you recognize instantly, but I'm having a difficult time explaining what I mean, lol!

Hmm... I wonder what 2010 will hold? I'm not sure... but I would love to see over-saturated-color in abundance and over-the-top furniture and accessories go away. Or at least chill out a little.

Great post Maggie! You are right, bloggers are a trendy bunch. I'm always down to hop on a trend bandwagon, at least in small not very expensive doses! I love your idea of "Summer Camp" instead of "Seashore/Beach". Excited to see what 2010 brings!
