I found this bulletin board at Goodwill for $3. It’s about two feet long and 6 or 7 inches high. Definitely a diamond in the rough.

Nothing my trio of helpers can’t fix (yeah, I should have used spray paint but I don’t have any and was feeling lazy).

Ta-da!

Now the glue gun gets in on the action. I practiced my giftwrapping skills to tuck the small ends under neatly.

The bulletin board clearly loves her new look and new home above the cookbooks in my kitchen.

The perfect little spot for notes to myself and recipe clippings.

Fabric by Amy Butler and purchased from this etsy seller.

It turned out great! I’m abt to do this for my little gal. The frame I found is oval though, so it’s going to take some sawing… I keep putting it off. You’ve got it back on my radar.
