Alas, as a renter, I shall have to wait.

Thanks domino for the pictures. Except the second one… thanks, Elle Decor!

Great photos. I love built-in shelves! That’s what made me fall in love with our house when we first walked it. My sister renovated an old house and had armoires into the walls and shelves into interesting little nooks. So cool!

That is one of my dreams, too! I WILL have a room like that with shelves full of books one day…and I want one of those rolly ladders that goes all the way up and down…like on Beauty and the Beast. :)

That corner one is great! This reminds me of the house I grew up in, we had built in bookshelves all over.I would love to have them in my house someday! And yes, Gidget, those rolly ladders are the best!

That fourth picture of the full-wall book shelf just about killed me. This is what love at first sight must feel like…

I love how bookshelves give you a little window into the personality of who lives there…

LOVE the book cases, so cute and just awesome. I definitely need those when I own my own place – in about 10 years or so.

Like others all said, these have been part of my dream house for years…especially Beauty and the Beast style. I’m sad that both my boyfriend and I owning kindles has really cut down on the necessity for these types of shelves in our apartment. Electronic books may be cheap and convenient, but they’ll never replace the real thing for me!

I created the look in my apartment by simply painting three floor to cieling bookshelves the same shade of green as the wall.
