Yesterday I paid off the balance of my credit card.
If we blindly ignore my student loans, that means I am no longer in debt!

In January I realized my credit card had gotten way out of control (note that I have a pretty restricted measure of “out of control” in the larger scheme of things). Any debt that makes you uncomfortable is BAD debt. I think I mentioned before that I had an Amazon one-click problem. Anyway, I began a rigorous campaign to PAY. IT. OFF. My normal “big ticket item” money from each month (which purchased my couch one month, Christmas party supplies one month) went toward debt payment. And now it’s gone! And that feeling is awesome. Now I can do other practical things like get some repairs done on my car, buy a new computer, and save save save.

Photo from, well, everywhere. But also on ffffound.

Congrats! I made my last non-student loan debt payment in January after a year. It was probably a little more “out of control” than yours, based on the time it took, but congratulations are in order all the same.

PS Where are these photos you mentioned?

I am cracking up at that photo! I love it. Congrats on paying off your debt. We are desperately trying to pay ours off as well, but its going to take awhile. Boo.

Thanks for the tag in your other post-I have no idea how I will choose just one photo.
